Accommodation Agreement

(Obligations of Hotel)
Article 1 The Hotel’s obligations regarding accommodation begin when the guest registers their stay at the registration premises or when the guest enters the guest room, whichever comes first. The obligations end when the guest vacates their room to depart.
If a guest room cannot be provided due to the cause attributable to the Hotel (exempting cases such as natural disaster and so forth), an identical or similar room at a different lodging facility will be provided to the guest.
In this case, no additional accommodation charges will be requested, for the day in which provision of the guest room cannot be continued.
(Refusal of Accommodation)
Article 2 The Hotel may decline to offer accommodation in the following circumstances.
(1) An accommodation application does not meet with this Terms and Conditions.
(2) No available guest room is left.
(3) The person, who attempts to stay in the Hotel, seems likely take actions that violate regulations stipulated in laws and ordinances, public order, or morality norms during his or her stay.
(4) The person, who attempts to stay in the Hotel, is clearly suffering from an infectious disease.
The person, who attempts to stay in the Hotel, is revealed (or admitted) as a member of antisocial organization.
(5) The Hotel is enforced to pay unreasonable burden in regards to accommodation.
(6) Accommodation cannot be offered because of natural disasters, facility failure, or other unavoidable reasons.
(7) The person, who attempts to stay in the Hotel, is revealed (or admitted) that he or she is heavily drunk and seems likely take nuisance actions to others.
The person, who attempts to stay in the Hotel, has significantly nuisance behavior on other guests.
The person, who attempts to stay in the Hotel, brought remarkable trouble to the Hotel in the past accommodation cases.
(Declaration of Full Name, etc.)
Article 3 When the Hotel accepts an application for accommodation before the date of stay (hereinafter referred to as “Accommodation Contact Application”), the Hotel may request the following items from the applicant in a specified time period.
(1) Applicant’s address, full name, gender, nationality, and profession.
(2) Any other items judged as necessary by the Hotel.

(Check-out Time)
Article 4 Guests will vacate their room (check-out) at 10 a.m.
Notwithstanding the preceding provision, the Hotel may allow usage of the guest room beyond the check-out time.
In such cases, the following additional charges will be applied.

(1) Until 13:00: 30% of the accommodation charges for one night
(2) Until 15:00: 50% of the accommodation charges for one night
(3) Beyond 15:00: the entire accommodation charges for one night
 
Note) Depending on the reservation circumstances, the extension of the guest room usage may not be accepted.

 
Article 5 Accommodation charges will be charged after the guest has used their guest room, even if they voluntarily decide not to stay in their room.
 
Article 6 During the guest stay in the Hotel, he or she will obey the usage regulations which are determined by the Hotel and are posted in the Hotel.
 
Article 7 The Hotel may refuse accommodation in the following circumstances if not stipulated in another provision.
(1) Circumstances that fall under clauses through from 3 to 7 of Article 2.
(2) While the Hotel has requested, the guest have not declared the information which falls under clauses 1 of Article 3 by the specified date.
(3) While the Hotel has requested, the guest have not payed the amount which falls under clauses 1 of Article 9 by the specified date.
When an accommodation reservation has been canceled pursuant to the provision of the preceding clauses, any remaining deposit will be refunded.
(Accommodation Registration)
Article 8 The Guest will register the following information at the Hotel’s front desk on the arrival date.
(1) Items listed in clause 1 of Article 3.
(2) The Guest of foreign citizenship must provide his or her passport number, immigration site in Japan, and immigration date.
(3) Date and time of departure.
(4) Any other items which are judged as necessary by the Hotel.
(Deposit)
Article 9 For the acceptance of Accommodation Contract Application, the Hotel may charge a deposit to be paid in a specified time period.
The amount of deposit will not exceed the accommodation charges (for 3 days if the accommodation period is longer than 3 days).
In the circumstances of contract breach defined in Article 12, the deposit in the provision of the preceding clauses will be allocated as a penalty. Any remaining balance will be refunded.
(Application of this Accommodation Agreement)
Article 10 The Accommodation Contract entered into with the hotel is pursuant to the provision of this Agreement. Items not provided for in this Agreement shall be pursuant to laws, ordinances, or usual custom.
Notwithstanding the preceding provision, the Hotel can accept the exceptional accommodation conditions as long as they do not violate the objectives of this Agreement, laws, ordinances, or usual custom.
(Refusal of Continual Accommodation)
Article 11 Even in the midst of accommodation period, the Hotel may decline to offer continual accommodation in the following circumstances.
(1) In the circumstances that fall under clauses through from 3 to 7 of Article 2.
(Cancellation of Reservation)
Article 12 If the Applicant of the accommodation reservation has canceled all or part of the accommodation contract, the Hotel will charge a penalty for contract breach as described below.
However, this is not applied to the partial cancellation of a group (constitute of 15 members or more; the same shall apply hereinafter) in which the cancellation is for 10% or less of the number of group member (rounded up in the case of fraction) and is made until 10 days before the arrival date.
(Regulations for Charging Penalty for Contract Breech)
(1) Regular guests
A. If the reservation is canceled one day before the check-in date, each guest shall pay 20% of the accommodation charges for the first night.
B. If the reservation is canceled on the check-in date, each guest shall pay 80% of the accommodation charges for the first night.
(2) Group
A. If the reservation is canceled between 9 days and 2 days before the check-in date, each guest shall pay 10% of the accommodation charges.
B. If the reservation is canceled one day before the check-in date, each guest shall pay 20% of the accommodation charges for the first night.
C. If the reservation is canceled on the check-in date, each guest shall pay 80% of the accommodation charges for the first night.
 
Without prior contact, if the guest does not arrive by 9 p.m. or by the time one hour past the arrival time (if it has been predeclared) on the check-in date, the reservation shall be considered as being canceled by the guest and shall be processed as such.
